PLUSTEK SCANNER SOFWARE REPLACEMENT FOR MAC OS
This driver is not available for Mac OS as no driver is needed to use the scanner other than Silverfast Software. Please Note (Mac Users): The scanner's front buttons require a Plustek proprietary driver to launch shortcuts for IntelliScan & QuickScan software. In the future, SilverFast will be developed solely in 64-bit. In addition to SilverFast, the scanner comes with Presto PageManager 7.23.

PLUSTEK SCANNER SOFWARE REPLACEMENT DRIVERS
In this new version, affected scanners will no longer function with SilverFast until their drivers are updated to support 64-bit.Īt this point in time, some scanner manufacturers only provide 32-bit drivers, which are currently not supported by macOS 10.14 - 11.0. An RMA number must first be issued by an Plustek representative. We will then analyze the product and repair or replace it at our discretion. The prompt should now read C:OP9630> if not. The standard replacement policy for Plustek scanners is for the customer to return the defective product to Plustek. In macOS 10.14 - 11.0, this step has been taken: 32-bit apps and drivers are no longer supported. The Plustek uses a cheap lens that simply cant resolve much above 3000 ppi. NB - If youve installed the scanner software to another directory, replace the OP9630 with the directory name. Scanners lacking 64-bit drivers are not compatible with macOS 10.14 - 11.0.įor the last several years, Apple has been preparing to transition to a purely 64-bit system.
The new WorkflowPilot® guides users through all scanning and processing steps.
